I was just so excited to share with you a WOW moment that Vilma a colleague at the Hilton Barbados helped me create. This was done for a guest who had never stayed at a hotel before and had chosen to spend his first Anniversary with us. He hadn’t requested much, but I decided to make it special for him and his relatively new wife.
While walking the floors in search of some soap liquid to create a bubble bath I ran into Vilma who in her usual way was ready to assist me with my venture. I started to explain to her why I needed this soap liquid and she then told me that she enjoys decorating rooms for these special guests. I then thought…hum?? Better I let Vilma help me since she might be able to do a better job than I could do. So a deal was done… we linked up later on and Vilma pulled the stops although we had limited material to work with.
A small bag of rose petals, some Frangipani (from our garden), 2 bath robes, slippers and a few balloons from Arlene in HR helped make this happen.
